How the GCA prepares and reviews its annual budget.

Its job

Help develop the association’s proposed annual budget for review by the Administrative Board and membership.

Committee members

The President appoints the Finance Committee from the full Board. The President-Elect chairs it, joined by the Treasurer and one additional Board member. The Senior Director of Campus Life and Vice President of Philanthropy serve ex officio without votes.

Budget timetable

A proposed budget is presented to the Board in October, to members for review in November, and for adoption at the regular December membership meeting.

Responsibility

The GCA operates under a membership-approved budget. Article IX also describes limited authority for certain unbudgeted expenditures and subsequent reporting to members.
